East Ballarat, Brookas, Hawks, Gold Caps; these are a few of our nicknames over the years. Throughout our history we have striven to help grow our communities by being a place where people can start playing cricket and have a place for years to come to help them be better people than cricketers. For nearly 50 years we have had an emphasis on junior development, many of our members have been with us since their junior years and we aim to continue this trend.

 

In more recent years we were an inaugural participates of the girl's competition and are rapidly expanding our women's cricket program, making our club more inclusive than ever before. We hope in future to be a club that includes all facets of a cricketing family and fully live up to our motto: A Family Club run by Families
